Quotes

  1. Quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless stated otherwise.
  2. Quotes are based on information you provide and a reasonable site assessment. If on-site conditions differ materially from what was described or assumed (e.g. concealed wiring damage, asbestos, switchboard upgrades required, additional cable runs), we will pause work, contact you, and provide a written variation before continuing.
  3. Where pricing depends on supplier costs (e.g. EV chargers, split systems, cameras), prices may be revalidated at time of order.

Bookings, deposits and payment

  1. A booking is confirmed once we have written acceptance of the quote and, where applicable, a deposit has been received.
  2. For supply-and-install jobs we may require a deposit equal to the cost of equipment to be ordered.
  3. Final payment is due on completion of the work, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  4. We accept bank transfer and card payments. Card payments may incur a surcharge equal to our merchant cost.
  5. Overdue invoices may attract interest at the RBA cash rate plus 2% p.a. and reasonable recovery costs.

Cancellations and rescheduling

  1. You may cancel or reschedule a booking at no charge if you give us at least 24 hours' notice.
  2. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a $120 call-out fee to cover allocated technician time.
  3. If equipment has been ordered specifically for your job and cannot be returned to the supplier, you remain responsible for that equipment cost.
  4. We may reschedule for safety reasons (e.g. severe weather, network outages) and will offer the next available slot.

Our work

  1. All electrical work is performed by or under the supervision of an A-Grade licensed electrician (A62716) under our Registered Electrical Contractor licence (REC 35801).
  2. Refrigerant work on split-system air conditioning is performed under ARCtick licence L186818 (RSS03) — install and decommission of split systems, hot water heat pumps and pool heat pumps up to 18 kW only.
  3. We comply with AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules), AS/NZS 3008, the Electricity Safety Act 1998 (Vic) and Energy Safe Victoria requirements.
  4. We do not hold a Victorian security licence and do not provide alarm monitoring, guard response, or back-to-base services. Where these are required we will refer you to a licensed partner.

Certificates of Electrical Safety

Where required by law, we will lodge a Certificate of Electrical Safety (COES) with Energy Safe Victoria via the Gas and Electrical Certificate Online (GECO) system. A copy will be emailed to you.

Warranty

  1. Workmanship: we warrant our installation workmanship for 24 months from completion. Defects caused by our workmanship will be rectified at no charge during this period.
  2. Manufacturer products: equipment we supply (chargers, split systems, cameras, switchboards) is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We will assist with warranty claims at no charge during the workmanship warranty period.
  3. The warranty does not cover:
    • Damage caused by misuse, modification, or work performed by others.
    • Wear and tear, accidental damage, surge events, lightning, water ingress beyond the equipment's IP rating, or vermin damage.
    • Equipment supplied by you (we cannot warrant items we did not source).
  4. This warranty operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)).

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Site access and conditions

You agree to:

  1. Provide safe and reasonable access to the work site.
  2. Disclose any known hazards (asbestos, friable insulation, unstable structures, hidden services, dangerous animals).
  3. Keep children and pets clear of work areas.
  4. Have a responsible adult on site (or an agreed access arrangement) at the time of attendance.
  5. Provide access to the switchboard, meter box, and water supply where the work requires it.

If conditions on site are unsafe, we may suspend work until the issue is resolved. Time spent waiting on site may be charged at our standard hourly rate.

Liability

  1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from work performed under these Terms is limited, at our option, to:
    • re-supplying the relevant services, or
    • paying the cost of having the relevant services supplied again.
  2. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of revenue, loss of profit, or loss of business opportunity), except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
  3. Nothing in this clause limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for breach of any consumer guarantee that cannot be excluded.
